PADI Reactivate and Scuba Refresher

Your PADI certification never expires but sometimes you end up with a lapse between dives. If there is an exotic trip or a local charter on your schedule, with the PADI Reactivate/Refresher you conveniently review scuba concepts on your tablet, mobile device or computer, then go diving with a PADI Professional. This is the perfect way to work with your equipment and fine tune your skills. Whether you want a few reminders or need to go over the basics, ReActivate/Refresher is personalized for you.

Some resorts and charter operators require proof of recent dives. With the PADI Reactivate course you will get an updated certification card. If your certification is other than PADI this training will show as a recent dive in your log book, signed by your instructor.

Reactivate and Scuba Refresher courses are $145 and include training materials, use of BCD, regulator with dive computer, wetsuit, tank, weights, pool dives and certification paperwork.

You may add an open water dive after the pool work for an additional fee.

You really don’t lose those well-learned skills, they are back in your memory and are waiting to go diving with you, so give us a call or sign up online to get started.

Academics:

  • Using ReActivate eLearning (for tablets or mobile devices) or ReActivate Online (for your personal computer), you’ll review skills, dive safety concepts and dive planning essentials. Move through ReActivate at your own pace and delve deeper into topics when you need or want to.

  • In the water, your PADI Professional will help you regain comfort and confidence in scuba diving. You’ll practice a few safety-related skills and then go over anything you specifically want to review.

  • Equipment needed: personal fit, mask, fins and snorkel are strongly recommended. Make sure the mask fits correctly as you will be wearing it for about an hour at a time (we can help with mask fittings), fins should be larger than snorkeling fins to move you and your gear through the water.

  • You should bring a towel, bathing suit, water and snacks as needed.

  • Transportation to and from the dive sites is not provided. For young people under 16, we will need to have a parent or guardian on-site or nearby.
